With a strong computer background, he has founded multiple technology-based companies and continues to develop methods for improving organizational quality through systems of democratic policy creation and execution. Jeff has a passion for innovation and sees the power that engineering and business each bring to the other as two parts of a synergistic whole."

He plans on going to graduate school in Mechanical Engineering or Physics and hopes to eventually start his own company. Ben has created a recycling business, worked at LuK USA, and has interned twice with The Boeing Company in Seattle, WA."

“Andy is a second year Mechanical Engineering student and is working on a minor in Business. He is a member of the Honors Leadership Community, and is also on the Grill Team in the Buckeye Barbeque Qlub. Andy plays flag football in OSU’s intramural program, and enjoys working out and playing basketball at the rec. He is from Lexington, OH and recently was a bag boy at his local country club.”

"Kevin is a fourth year Mechanical Engineering student with concentrations in Design and Manufacturing and Automotive Engineering as well as a minor in Economics. He has had internships with both Stock Equipment Co. as well as Swagelok Co. He has worked for Swagelok in Solon, OH for the last two years and plans to return for his third internship with them this summer. He is from the greater Cleveland area and enjoys working on his Jeep and playing baseball."

His interests include working for the Freshmen Engineering Program as a GTA, Lean Six Sigma black belt certification work, and Cleveland Indians baseball (go tribe!)."

"Dr. Rogers has developed a senior design Capstone course where student teams solve problems for Ohio companies. This program expands the interdisciplinary team concept to include MBA students. These teams, challenged with open-ended problems, design solutions by considering business and technical tradeoffs. Applying his extensive industrial background in product commercialization, Peter is piloting a new program in 2009-10 called the Social Innovation Initiative. An interdisciplinary team will work with non-profit organizations to identify, design, and help commercialize a product focused on helping the disabled. This product will provide both significant social and substantial commercial value."

"Dr. Schlosser currently teaches courses in the First-Year Engineering Program at The Ohio State University. He earned the B.Sc. degree in Engineering Physics with a minor in Electrical Engineering and M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Nuclear Engineering, all from Ohio State University. Prior to joining the faculty of the First-Year Engineering Program, Dr. Schlosser was a professor of Nuclear and Mechanical Engineering at The Ohio State University. Dr. Schlosser has received a number of U.S. and foreign patents for various electronic devices and systems. In addition to his teaching activities, he has started several successful electronics companies in Columbus, OH."
