Fair Trade Throwdown

This is SoBE's main event of winter quarter.  We will be holding an awesome competition style event centered around Fair Trade engineering and business issues.  The event will focus on packaging design and marketing of fair trade coffee.  A panel of experienced judges and speakers from Ohio State, local businesses, and around the world will help run and score the competition.  Paying members only, non-paying members can pay $5 at the door but must still RSVP.  Please RSVP by February 26th to any of the following: osu.sobe@gmail.com,

WI10 General Meeting
#1
This is our first general meeting of 2010!  We will be providing updates about the quarter's activities as well as holding officer elections.  Pizza and pop provided!

General Meeting
SoBE will be having a general meeting on MONDAY, NOVEMBER 9th from 6-7pm in Scott Lab Room E100.  We will be having a wrap-up discussion of the sustainability conference this weekend and the Honda plant tour, talking about officer elections, and going over the various SoBE committees.
-PIZZA and SODA will be provided!
-This will be our last general meeting of the quarter, so we hope to see you all there!

Product Design for Sustainability Conference
Please join the Society of Business and Engineering as it hosts the Product Design for Sustainability Conference.  This is a great opportunity to learn more about sustainability, and to gain professional conference experience.

Plant Tour
Honda of America
Date: Thursday, October 22nd

We're leaving from the ROTC parking lot around 4:30.  The tour will last from 5:30 - 7:30 with a focus on the challenges that Honda is facing regarding product sustainability and how they are tackling those issues.  We'll be returning home around 8:30-9.  Everyone is welcome to drive themselves.  However, if you don't have a car, the officers will be providing carpooling.  The RSVP deadline is Monday the 19th.
